Finpecia is a generic version of Propecia which is a medication used for the treatment of male pattern baldness and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
How does it work
Finpecia works by preventing testosterone from converting into dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body.
Taking Finpecia & the right dosage
Finpecia may be taken with or without a meal.
The treatment must continue for at least three months for you to notice any difference. If you do not notice any difference after taking the medicine for up to 12 months, then it may not work for you at all.
Storage
Store Finpecia in a cool and dark place at room temperature. Do not store it in a place where it can get exposed to direct sunlight or moisture.
Keep it away from children and pets.

Finpecia may not be suitable for you if:
You have liver disease
Your liver enzyme test results are abnormal
You have prostate cancer
You have a bladder muscle disorder
You are unable to urinate
You have ever had an allergic reaction to a similar medicine called dutasteride (Avodart).

Finpecia increases your risk of developing prostate cancer
Finpecia is not meant for use by women. If a woman who is pregnant or is capable of bearing a child gets exposed to a crushed Finpecia Tablet, then they should immediately wash the area with soap and water.
Drug Interactions
Finpecia may interact with some medications. So if you are using any prescription, non prescription, OTC medicines or dietary supplements, then inform your physician in advance before you use Finpecia.
Side Effects
The most common side effects of Finpecia are:
Impotence, loss of interest in sex, or trouble having an orgasm, abnormal ejaculation, swelling in your hands or feet, swelling or tenderness in your breasts, dizziness, weakness, feeling like you might pass out, headache, runny nose or skin rash.
These side effects usually subside by themselves in sometime as the body gets used to Finpecia.
Some uncommon but potentially dangerous side effects are:
Breast lumps, pain, nipple discharge, or other breast changes, serious allergic reactions, hives etc.
You should see a doctor immediately if one of these side effects occur.
